2、 Technical principles
According to the HJ970-2018 standard, after extraction and dehydration with n-hexane, and adsorption of animal and vegetable oils with magnesium silicate, the absorbance was measured at a wavelength of 225 nm, which conforms to Lambert Beer's law.

4、 Application scope of the instrument
This standard is applicable to the determination of petroleum in surface water, groundwater, and seawater.
When the sampling volume is 500 ml, the extraction solution volume is 25 ml, and a 2 cm quartz colorimetric dish is used, the detection limit of the method is 0.01 mg/L, and the lower limit of determination is 0.04 mg/L.
